Submerged beneath our congressional ocean’s deep flaws.
Protected by stratified political currents
impossible to deflect,
from the dollars clarion call.
In the halls they strike
Surfaced!
with
a vote in the night.
Policies selected elected,
work done, cloaked, seen no more.
